About

   About this Website

This website is dedicated to one of the most interesting, but lesser known Glens in the famous Nine Glens of Antrim, Glenshesk. This site contains not only information written by the author, but also historical accounts, old photographs, etc., collected from many different sources, pulled together in one place, for the first time ever.

It covers general history, historical figures associated with the Glen, everyday life in the Glen, farming in the Glen, school, wildlife, and really anything connected to it. This is  one of the most historic but lesser known parts of Ireland.

The Links below give a general background to the formation to the glens and their names, a map, as well as other useful Links outside of this site.

If you would like to add to this important narrative, then please contact us through this site or directly at Email:  glensheskballycastle@gmail.com
