Abandoned Things!

Here we have a collection of photographs of “abandoned things”, in and around Glenshesk. As time passes by, families, farm houses, technology, farming practices, etc. come and go. If you look close enough, you will see the remnants of past lives and how we once lived. Derelict farmhouses in particular are a fascinating glimpse into how past generations lived, and with the fast pace of change, these things need to be recorded, even in photograph, before they are lost forever. What was once seen as the “ordinary”, can very soon become the “extraordinary”.
